Aquatic life

In my room, I home a blue Beta fish, Omega. He is very pretty, though I can't help feeling I am slowly killing him by leaving the still water in his tank too long. Where does he get his oxygen? I don't have a pump. Oh no!

This invention is an amazing solution that includes growing your own food while keeping your pet happy :) Just what I need. I love food and I love my beta.

The hydroponic system has been used to grow produce in the past, and this is the first time the idea is being brought into the home. I'm so glad they have!

To any teachers or families out there, this is a great addition to the home/classroom as it highlights the symbiotic relationship between plants and fish. In our natural environment, plants grow on the top and bottom of lakes and ponds. The fish excrement is used as a fertilizer and nourishment for the plant while the plant keeps the water from becoming over concentrated with ammonia or other fish by products.
